You will need a 20″ square of fabric for the quilt top and a 22″-24″ square of batting and backing fabric. Each “block” in the sampler is 6″ x 6″.
Measure and draw nine 6″ squares as follows, leaving a 1″ margin around the edges.
If you prefer, you can leave 1/4″ between the 6″ squares as I did.
Mark the Machine Quilting Practice Motifs on the quilt top as follows (click on the link to access the PDF file):
Layer with the batting and backing fabric and baste. Use a walking foot to machine quilt the lines between the blocks.

Hi Mariam, you can use any machine you would like. For the sample, I was using a Bernina 170.
