Poinsettias (Euphorbia pulcherrima) have bright petals that look like flowers, but are actually leaves. Most commonly red, poinsettias can also be white, pink, purple, yellow, orange or salmon.
Holly (Aquifoliaceae) is a flowering plant with bright red berries.
